Description
The wreck of the "City of Sassari" lies on a sandy bottom at a depth of about 28 meters. off the coast of Borghetto Santo Spirito. Following numerous interventions recovery of important materials, has lost much of the upper structures.
Within the remaining sheets you can find the dens of conger eels, bream, octopus, and the stern is a statue of a Madonna that since 2000 "watches and blesses" all divers who dive in the wreck.
